The Appalachian region just got a whole lot bigger with the new Fallout 76: Skyline Valley update. Not only will it introduce a new questline, but it will also present more challenges with the latest Region Boss. Here’s everything you need to know about Fallout 76: Skyline Valley’s patch notes.
All Fallout 76: Skyline Valley changes
For those daring enough to venture to the Appalachian region, a new mystery awaits in the Shenandoah National Park, featuring a captivating new map expansion. Here, players can uncover the secrets of Vault 63, the enigmatic next questline for Season 17. But if you want to take a trip on the wild side, you can nuke the entire region to cause some chaos.
An electrical storm will be covering this area, where you will encounter the new Ghoul Type, known as the Lost. Players may also stumble across storm chasers while here, taking you on the new Public Event. Help them out by taking pictures of the storm, but watch out for the lingering threats nearby.
In addition to the ghouls and storm chasers, you can meet Hugo Stolz, the ghoul overseer of Vault 63. The more characters you meet, the more likely you will discover the truth behind the Vault 63 residents. However, you must be wary of the new Region Boss, who can prove deadly if unprepared.
Fortunately, the Fallout 76: Skyline Valley update doesn’t require much space. While Steam users need 27.6 GB, console and Microsoft Store players must have around 41 GB of available space. The new update also aims to fix multiple issues, such as enhancements to C.A.M.P., weapons, and general gameplay.
